The official extension notice is ECF No. 306200/73, dated 30 September 2026, referring to the advertisement dated 25 August 2026. It gives a closing date but no closing clock time. Complete the form early rather than assuming a midnight deadline.
Who should check eligibility?
The current applicant portal invites eligible applicants belonging to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi community for the financial year 2026-27. Each scheme has its own course, income and supporting-document rules. Read the official guidelines for the scheme that matches your studies before applying. The extension itself does not change the scheme's eligibility or promise an award.
Prepare before registration
The live applicant portal states that Aadhaar authentication is mandatory, registration must be completed before applying, and the applicant must have an Aadhaar-seeded scheduled-bank account in their own name. Keep the relevant education and admission records, community documents and other scheme-specific documents ready. Check the required upload formats on the live portal.
Use contact details you can access and enter every detail exactly as it appears in your documents. Do not share passwords or identity documents in public comments or social messages.
How to apply through the official route
- Open the official SIRISH website and read the scheme details and extension notice.
- Select Apply Here. The official page offers three applicant-portal mirror servers for login or registration. If one does not work, use another link from that same official page.
- Register if needed, or sign in to your existing account. The current login uses your Aadhaar number and password.
- Select the correct scheme, complete the details and document uploads, and review the application before submission.
- Submit by 15 October 2026 and save the application/acknowledgement record. Follow any later verification instructions from the department.
The 15 October extension notice lists only the five schemes above. It does not establish an extension for civil-services assistance, healthcare or other schemes.
