The Office of the Additional Director, A.H. & Vety. Deptt. (Hills), Assam, Haflong has invited applications in the Standard Form for 13 Grade III and Grade IV posts. Applications are received at the office from 27 October 2026 to 26 November 2026, up to 4:00 PM on working days. This is an offline application; there is no online form. Local candidates of Dima Hasao district get preference as per the government circular.

Age limit
Age is counted as on 01-05-2026: minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years. Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST (up to 45), 3 years for OBC/MOBC (up to 43), 2 years for ex-servicemen, and 10 years for persons with disabilities (up to 50).
How to apply
- Get the Standard Form as prescribed in Part-IX of the Assam Gazette.
- Fill the form and write your Employment Exchange Registration Number; registration is compulsory.
- Attach the documents listed below.
- Submit the application at the Office of the Additional Director, A.H. & Vety. Deptt. (Hills), Assam, Haflong during office hours between 27 October 2026 and 26 November 2026 (up to 4:00 PM, excluding holidays).
Documents to attach
- Self-attested copies of all certificates: educational and other certificates, age proof, caste certificate and PRC.
- 3 copies of self-attested recent passport-size photographs.
- Copy of Employment Exchange registration.
- Autonomous Council Court Fee Stamp of Rs 10.
Important conditions
- Incomplete applications or applications submitted after 26 November 2026 will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- In-service candidates may apply through proper channel.
- No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
- Call letter / admit card will be intimated to candidates in due course of time.
- Candidates joining State Government service on or after 1 February 2005 are covered by the Contributory Pension Scheme, not the old Assam pension rules.
