The ITI Trainee engagement is a special recruitment drive for ST candidates who are domicile of Assam and registered with an Employment Exchange of Assam. Age relaxation for reserved categories applies as per Government of Assam guidelines.

Selection process
- Officer posts: Written Test / Personal Interview; selection in order of merit.
- ITI Trainee: Written Test (three sections - English Language & General Knowledge/Awareness; Reasoning, Arithmetic/Numerical & Mental Ability; and relevant Technical Knowledge; in English, no negative marking), followed by Personal Interview for qualified candidates.
- Provisionally selected candidates must clear the Pre-Employment Medical Examination at AGC Medical Centre, Duliajan.
- Officer posts carry a probation period of 6 months; ITI Trainees are engaged for a training period of 12 months.
Important conditions
